The Visitation of Our Lady at the 25th Batim Apparition Anniversary Celebrations
At Batim, Our Lady wishes to be known under the title:
“Mary, Mother of the Church, Our Lady of Mount Ganxim – Batim”
And requests that the Church at Batim be rebuilt and Consecrated to Her
“ WITH YOUR HELP, THIS CHURCH WILL BE REBUILT…..” Our Lady, 24th Sept 2019
"I desire with great desire that this Holy Church, once a full and living Tabernacle of God bringing souls back to God that lies in a state of semi ruins, be rebuilt and consecrated to Me under the title of 'Mary, Mother of the Church, Our Lady of Mount Ganxim – Batim'".

It seems like this is a daunting and demanding challenge. Responding to it is beyond us, if we look only to ourselves or even to each other. Only Christ, through the gift of His Blessed Mother here at Batim, can enable us to do and be what otherwise we can never hope to do and to be.
Let us heed Our Blessed Mother's plea and commit ourselves to playing our part in the rebuilding of the Lord's Church here at Batim. Let us renew our commitment to each other, to our priests and religious, to our Archbishop His Grace Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao, to our communion with the Successor of St Peter, Pope Francis , and most of all, of course, to the Christ who is our Way, our Truth and our Life.
A simple way ot console Our Lady is to make Acts of Reparation, to make the First Five Saturdays and to offer our prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners - St John Paul II

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
The imposing Church on the Ganxim hilltop was constructed by the Augustinian Archbishop D.Frei Aleixo de Menezes between 1596-1610 and was dedicated to the apostles St.Simon and St. Jude. The Church and cemetery stood lonely and rejected -utterly isolated for over 200 yrs since the infamous plague that struck the region more than 200 yrs ago. Church services have since begun since 1993 following an apparition of the Virgin Mary to Mrs Iveta Fernandes.
FIRST SATURDAY
SERVICES
1.00 pm: Stations of the Cross
2.00 pm: Most Holy Rosary, Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Divine Mercy Prayers, Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Confessions.
3.30pm: Holy Mass.
Services will be in Konkani and English
